Testy Tony’ego Georga z USA na Samsung Galaxy S4 mini z systemem Android 4.4.2, włączonym GPS, WiFi i trybem oszczędzania energii oraz z użyciem insertera IOTA VTI i kamery Watec 910HX ustawionej na 1/60 s wykazały, że maksymalna odchyłka błysku od wzorcowego czasu UT wyniosła 0,018 s, minimalna 0,006 s, uśredniając 0,010 s.
Końcowa dokładność pomiarów wynosi więc 0,018 s +/- 1 półobraz. Przetestowany także na Samsung Galaxy S6 – odlicza i wyzwala błysk flesza prawidłowo.

The PyOTE flash time analysis allows analysis of the flash edge to millisecond accuracy.

Which of these phone provided timing flashes can work outside the phone network? My Android phone can access GPS data even in airplane mode so a flash timing based on GPS should in theory be usable even out of range of cell towers, so a timer based on GPS should work there too. What about one based on NFT? –

Occult Flash Tag is compatible with Airplane mode, but it will sync and audit time just after phone get an internet connection (wifi, 3g, 4g).. just one requirement.. the phone cannot been rebooted before get an connection..
You can get flash offline, but need stay with phone on (without reboot) and go to a connected area.
